Just over a year ago, our youth group consisted of only two young people. Today, we’re witnessing what can only be described as a quiet revival. Around forty young people now come regularly, and our monthly Youth Led Worship Nights are drawing more than one hundred people each time. It’s more than growth — it’s a move of God among a new generation.
Our youth aren’t simply attending events; they are shaping the culture of the ministry. They are passionate about knowing Jesus deeply and bold in sharing the Gospel with their friends and family. They are eager to invite others into what God is doing and are growing in prayer, worship, confidence, and spiritual maturity. This is a generation discovering that faith is alive, powerful, and relevant to their everyday lives.
We currently run these events once a month, and each evening is designed to be fun, welcoming, Christ-centred, and deeply encouraging. The night begins with relaxed, good-natured fun to help everyone feel at home. We then gather around food, sharing a meal that helps create a family atmosphere where young people feel safe and included.
Afterwards, we move into a time of worship. Increasingly, our youth are stepping into leadership, whether through singing, playing instruments, or reading Scripture. This is a moment where they learn to respond to God with freedom and joy. A short, engaging talk follows, rooted in the Bible and speaking directly into the real issues young people face at home, in school, online, and in their friendships. We end the evening together in prayer, lifting up one another, our schools, families, and community. These moments have been deeply impactful and often lead to powerful encounters with God.
Whether you’ve grown up in church or are completely new to it, you are welcome here. You’ll discover a place where you are known, where genuine friendships are formed, where you can explore faith at your own pace, and where you can grow into the person God has created you to be.
For parents, this page offers reassurance that our youth ministry is safe, structured, and centred around Jesus. Our desire is to disciple young people, help them form strong and healthy friendships, and create an environment where they can flourish.
For young people, whether they have grown up in church or have never been before, this is a place where they are welcome. They will find a community where they are known, where they can explore faith freely, and where they can grow in confidence and purpose.
We currently have two dedicated youth leaders who love Jesus and love young people. They work hard to create an atmosphere of fun, faith, warmth, and safety, and they are committed to encouraging and discipling the youth each week. As the ministry continues to grow, they are supported by an expanding team of volunteers.
At a time when so many young people are wrestling with questions of identity, purpose, anxiety, and pressure, we believe God is doing something beautiful in their lives. Loneliness is being replaced with belonging. Curiosity is turning into confident faith. Ordinary gatherings are becoming opportunities for genuine encounters with God.
Growing from two to forty young people in just over a year is more than impressive — it is a sign of God’s grace and a glimpse of what He is doing in this generation.
